Hunan Hut has been cooking on New Hampshire Avenue in Adelphi since 1999. We're a family-owned Chinese-American carry-out, and after more than 25 years, many of the faces at our counter are regulars we've known for years. Customers who first came in as kids now bring their own families.
We're a short drive from Hyattsville, Langley Park, and Silver Spring, and close to the University of Maryland campus in College Park. Whether you're a UMD student looking for a late dinner, a family grabbing dinner on the way home, or a longtime regular, you'll get a big, affordable meal that's ready fast.
What brings people back is the food. Our crispy fried wings with mambo sauce — the sweet, tangy sauce DC-area carry-outs are known for — are our best seller. Regulars also swear by our shrimp lo mein, Singapore rice noodle, General Tso's chicken, Triple Delight, and chicken with broccoli. Every order is cooked fresh when you place it.
